Hi,
I am Suraj and thank you for visiting my web page. I hope you will
find it interesting and you will enjoy it. Currently I am working
at Aspen Technology, Inc. in Houston,
Texas. I am working in the Advanced Control and Optimization division
of AspenTech. My job involves little bit of consulting and lot of
model identification and design of large scale multivariable controllers
for mostly chemical industry. My job requires lot of travel but that
is what makes it very interesting. Prior to this I received both
my Masters and Ph.D. in chemical Engineering at Case
Western Reserve university, Cleveland, Ohio. I spent four years
there developing the theory of Model State Feedback. I did my Bachelors
in Chemical Engineering at Indian Institute
of Technology, Bombay, India. Last year I married Chetna.
She is studying for her Masters Degree in Computer Science at the University
of Houston.
